I plan to give birth in a hospital. We’re gathering price points right now. We’re looking for a birth and postpartum doula; we would really like to have someone who could help with overnight support in the first couple months.
My husband and I are moving to Maryland from out of state during my 3rd trimester. (Military family!) My first pregnancy was high risk and we spent 8 weeks in the nicu with my daughter. I am looking for a birth doula who can help me both figure out a birth plan, as well as coach me through a more “normal”/typical birth experience. I’m not opposed to pain management, but would like to try to attempt all natural. (I managed this with my last daughter, but my labor was induced, came on very very fast, and she was just under 5 lbs!)
Natural birth in hospital. Want assistance, guidance, and advocate of my birthing experience. I have CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO.
Hospital, Sentara woodbridge Insurance covered I want an epidural
I plan to give birth at Inova Fairfax Women's Center. I live in Fredericksburg VA. I am looking for a Christian/ Christ centered doula who is well versed in high risk black maternal health and can advocate well for me. I want hands off care as much as possible. Not many cervical checks. NO episiotomy or forceps. Labor the way a position feels comfortable to me. Also, a plus is someone with a trauma based care mentality as I have gone through sexual assault and I need emphasis on consent. I need someone who is going to help when fear tries to come up. Someone not afraid to pray and set the atmosphere well. My biggest fear is becoming a statistic and something happening to me during or after birth because no one listened to me and how I feel about my body. MUST ACCEPT CareFirst (Private BCBS). I would only like services that will be covered.
I am looking for a birth doula who will also do 1 postpartum visit several days after birth to check in and answer any questions we have about newborn care (no expectation for chores/housekeeping). This is my first baby. I plan to give birth in a hospital (Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA). I plan to labor at home until I am approaching active labor, then my husband and I will go to the hospital. I am not intending to have an epidural because I want to be able to move around and labor in different birthing positions. I am looking for a doula who has at least 5 years of experience and has attended a birth at Mary Washington hospital system before. I would prefer a doula who has experienced labor themselves at least once. My estimated budget is $2,250.
Emergency!! Our original Nanny leaves because of her personal reason, so we need a night Nanny for a new burn baby between July 25 night and 29 (five nights). We expect take care of the baby during night, including feeding, burping, changing diapers, and comforting baby if fussing. Thank you! In Maryland, Moco. Best,
I am currently on my second pregnancy with twins! I reside in Fredericksburg but do plan to give birth at Stafford hospital, just like I did with my first. I am hoping to go natural but am flexible in my birth plan due to the risks of having twins (preterm labor, c section, etc). I am mostly looking for someone that can help provide care during the nights in the very beginning for the twins. I will be breastfeeding so I’ll be up as well but am really wanting help on changes, potential bottle feed once or twice through the night while I pump, and putting them back to sleep. I hardly slept with my first and struggled deeply with PPD and would like to avoid that at all cost. I am open to any caregiver but would prefer female only, and at least 2-4 years experience.

I am looking for a doula that can be a support system as well as an advocate for me while I am in labor. I want to feel confident, know my rights and know that someone is there to speak up for me when I may be unable to or uncertain. I plan on having a birth plan created. I do not have an estimated budget as im not sure what that would be. But I do plan to try and use my insurance if possible.

About Me & What I'm Looking For Hello! I'm expecting my fourth child and am due in November. Although this isn't my first birth experience, my youngest child is now 13 years old, so it has been quite some time since I've been through labor and delivery. I'm looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional birth doula who can provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support throughout labor and delivery. My birth preferences include: - I plan to receive an epidural for pain management. - I would like encouragement, comfort measures, and guidance before and after receiving the epidural. - I value clear communication, a calm presence, and someone who will help me feel confident and supported during labor. - I would appreciate assistance with labor positioning, breathing techniques, advocacy, and helping my support person participate in the birth experience. I currently have Maryland MedStar Health insurance. I am specifically looking for a doula whose services are covered by my insurance. If my insurance does not cover doula services, I do not plan to pay out of pocket, so insurance acceptance is an important requirement. I'm excited to work with a doula who respects my birth preferences and can help make this a positive, supported, and empowering experience.
-Spotsy regional medical center - low intervention, unmedicated, etc..
I am looking for a doula to have guidance on having a mother vaginal birth following a cesarean birth from my last pregnancy. I want to avoid that happening again and especially avoid that healing process I had to go through with my little boy.
