I am looking for someone with homeopathy experience who is willing to assist in delivery at the Minnesota Birth Center. Looking to spend less than $2000 and don’t have much of a birth plan yet.

We are giving birth at the Mother baby center at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. We are unsure of budget, and wanted to see what people were charging. This is my second birth, and my first was completely natural, other than pitocin after birth when my placenta didn't come out right away, but I would like to avoid that this time. My birth went pretty quickly as well- I woke up at 1:30 am with contractions, was at the hospital at a 3 by 5:30 and had my baby at 11:30 am.

I’m having a Twin pregnancy! In the past I delivered a singleton baby uncomplicated vaginally with a certified midwife team at Methodist hospital. Because this is a “high risk pregnancy” I will need to deliver with an OB team and plan on doing so at Maple Grove hospital. I plan on having an epidural, but my biggest hope is to avoid an UNNECESSARY C section. Budget is a concern, as a twin pregnancy definitely wasn’t part of the plan/budget, but I’m not even sure how much a doula would cost.

-We're currently considering switch centers. We're currently at Mother Baby Center in Minneapolis. We're looking at Twin Cities Birthing Center, Willow Midwives, MN Birth Center and Methodist Hospital. The goal is to have a water birth. -$500-1500 -My birthing plan/goal is to have a an unmedicated, water birth. However, I remain open as this will be my first birth. It's important to me to be able to move freely during birth, not birth on my back, have immediate skin to skin contact if possible / embrace golden hour, not be induced, avoid interventions.

I’m currently looking for a doula to support me during the birth of my baby, and I’d love to share a bit more about what I’m looking for to see if we’re a good fit. I plan on giving birth at Maple Grove Hospital, and I’ll be using my insurance (Medica) to help cover the cost. I have a clear birth plan that’s very important to me: I want to give birth naturally with no induction medications or pills, no epidural, and ideally without tearing. I’m strongly hoping to avoid a C-section unless there’s a clear medical reason that puts me or my baby at high risk. I also have some health concerns—specifically with my blood sugar—that make me feel it’s even more important to have someone in the room who can advocate for me. When things get intense, I know I may not be able to speak up for myself, and I want to make sure my voice is still heard and my plan is respected. Having a doula who understands my priorities, supports natural birth, and can help navigate the medical side of things would mean so much.
