I would like to find midwife that could help with birth at my home
I am living in the Elk River area. I would like to give birth at a baby center that supports water births. This is my 2nd pregnancy. I would like someone who is calm and energy is positive.
Im planning to do a home birth. Im not entirely sure what my budget is. I was hoping to have a water birth if not at least labor in the tub. Otherwise just have a no complication birth.
Our first baby is due in October and we’re planning to do a homebirth if possible, I was hoping to go through my insurance Blue Cross/blue Shield. Still constructing a birth plan.

Home birth midwife who takes insurance bonus if it’s medical assistance
I’m looking to do a waterbirth, Possibly a home birth if I’m able to. I do have history of preterm birth. My first baby was born at 23 weeks. I went on to have 3 more full term babies. I took progesterone shots with my 3 pregnancies, so I don’t know if that keeps me from having a water birth/homebirth. I have Medical Assistance for insurance. Would prefer a Christian midwife if possible. I would like as natural of a birth as possible. Skin to skin right away, delayed cord clamping, no bath, baby stays with me.
Looking to birth in a birthing center or hospital. Looking to do natural birth
Looking for an experienced Christian midwife that does home births. Northern suburbs. $5000 Unmedicated at home
I plan to give birth at home. The cheapest way possible.
I would love to have a midwife/doula in my labor and learned more about it.
Would like to give birth at home but I have focal seizures that are under control through medication. Budget is $5000-$6000. This is my second child and I had a home birth for the first one that went very smoothly. I labored for 13 hours total. I’d like to do another water birth.
I plan to give birth at home, where I would be most comfortable. This would be my first child. I want a midwife (versus obgyn) because they are skilled in vaginal deliveries and that is very important for me. I also appreciate that I wouldn't have to worry about driving somewhere while in labor. I like to avoid pharmaceuticals. I use homeopathies, supplements and I would take herbal remedies before using pharmaceuticals. I don't want my midwife to be using crystals or "checking energies". My Christian faith is very important to me and my husband being there to support me in the birth is important too. I have not made a budget yet.
Home birth, no budget in mind, natural vaginal delivery, hoping for water birth but my second came very fast within 3 hours of contractions starting and didn’t get with him
I am not pregnant yet but we hope to start trying soon. One thing that means a lot to me is being able to have a home birth (if the pregnancy and baby are healthy). We don’t have an estimated budget but a home birth means so much to me that money isn’t a concern as of yet. I would like a natural home birth. Very calm and low key. Go about normal daily life as long as possible. Focus on coping mechanisms, relaxation, and distraction techniques. I would also like to have my husband very hands on and bonding together through the process of welcoming our baby into the world.
ideally i’d like to give birth in some sort of birth center where i can possibly do a water birth, but those are really the only details i have. i don’t know what my budget is or what my birth plan is yet.
