Looking for a doula to help advocate and support us for a natural delivery at a hospital. I would prefer to have a birthing center but due to our location it looks like a hospital is our only choice for insurance. I have VA and tricare (Humana military) insurance

I will be giving birth at Northside Hospital. I am searching for a Doula who I can truly look to throughout the entirety of my pregnancy. I want someone who can teach me to advocate for myself and my needs while I am in doctors appointments and in the hospital.

I would like to give birth in my own home using a water birth. I would prefer for someone to not be overbearing and pushy. I want a midwife that will listen to my concerns and wants without forcing me to go to a hospital for no reason.

I want to have a natural birth in the hospital. I am using medicare for a provider. I would want dim lighting and to be able to move freely if needed. IV strictly if necessary. Meditative music (possibly). Use natural techniques for pain relief. Non evasive fetal monitoring. Allow labor to progress free of time limits and strictly if necessary- last resort augmented labor. Push instinctively. Avoid Episiotomy. Lotus Birth or wait till cord is white. Partner will cut the cord. Partner or I will rub vernix into baby’s skin. Skin-to-skin with me and partner. If a boy- 3rd day circumcision. No immediate vaccines or blood drawn for baby. Combination of breast and bottle feeding.

First birth, Have been going to Emory hospital of Decatur, Low risk pregnancy, 13 weeks along so far. I am okay with giving birth at a hospital, but dont want to be in the standard position and I dont want medication. we have tricare humana east.

My wife is more comfortable communicating in Mandarin Chinese, so bilingual support is very important. We are planning for a vaginal delivery with epidural pain management if needed, but we are open to medical recommendations. We would appreciate support during labor, delivery, and the first few hours postpartum. We prefer a certified doula with several years of experience supporting first-time parents. We are also interested in learning whether any services may be eligible for reimbursement through Aetna insurance.
