About me

Hi I go by Emmy and I am a christian certified labor and postpartum doula with a heart for serving women and families during one of life’s most meaningful transitions. I have worked with families for years and I started Covered And Chosen Doula services so that I can incorporate my faith into the care I give to mothers☺️ Regardless of your backgrounds and beliefs my goal is to make sure that you are held through your entire pregnancy and postpartum. Every mother deserves to feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout her journey🌸 As a labor doula I provide emotional, physical, and educational support while creating a safe, judgment-free space where families can feel heard and cared for. I help you advocate for yourself! Whether I am supporting you during labor, helping you adjust to life with a new baby, or simply offering encouragement, I am committed to helping you feel confident, cared for, and supported every step of the way❤️

Tier 1 Labor Doula support

LABOR DOULA PACKAGE Prenatal Support • On call 24/7 from 34 weeks with confirmed contract except personal emergency, backup doula guaranteed • 1 prenatal visit (34 to 37 weeks), in person, up to 2 hours • Birth preferences guide, a personalized document of your ideal birth • Partner or support person coaching during the prenatal visit • Monthly check ins, weekly check ins after 34 weeks, plus unlimited text support Labor and Birth Support • Guaranteed backup doula • 12 hours of face to face labor and birth support after 12 hours additional time is billed at $30 an hour • Physical and emotional support, active labor through immediate postpartum up to 1 hour Postpartum Support • Breastfeeding initiation support • 1 postpartum visit up to 2 hours, in person or by Zoom • 2 weeks of postpartum check in calls, up to 30 minutes each Note: • Call, do not text. Labor support is requested by phone call only. Texts, emails, and social messages do not trigger a doula response. • Your doula reports within 2 hours of your call. • Parking fees at the birth location are billed to client. • All fees are non refundable once the contract is signed. 50% due at booking to reserve your due date, balance due at 34 weeks

Labor support is requested by phone call only. Texts, emails, and social message do not trigger a doula response. Your doula reports within 2 hours of your call. 5 Stars all the way! I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and professional the support I received was. We received wonderful service. Every question I had was answered with a very well thought out explanation. She made sure to make herself available for every consultation and worked with my difficult schedule. She helped me make a birth plan and made it very easy to customize. The plan changed when baby arrived simply because of how fast baby was ready to be delivered, and she helped me navigating that as well. All around my experience was phenomenal and I, 100% would ask for her assistance again!

Emmy is the BEST doula! She is my virtual doula! She was always very informative with each conversation we had. She showed genuine care throughout the whole process from pregnancy, to birth, and even in post partum.
