About Megan

Hi!!! My name is Megan Weimer and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and the founder of Love & Leche Lactation, serving families in southern Chester County, PA and the surrounding tri-state area. I support families through prenatal and postpartum feeding with a calm, practical, and evidence-based approach. With a background in Industrial Engineering, I bring a problem-solving mindset to lactation care, helping parents understand not just what is happening with feeding, but why. As both an IBCLC and a parent of two whom I breastfed, I understand how personal and emotional feeding can be. My goal is to meet families where they are, honor their feeding goals, and provide supportive, judgment-free care that helps parents feel informed and confident.

Megan has been a tremendous help throughout my breastfeeding and pumping journey. She is friendly, down-to-earth, and incredibly knowledgeable, and I felt comfortable with her right away. She has helped me with so many things I simply didn’t know about, including proper flange fitting, getting the most output from my pump, breastfeeding positions, improving my daughter’s latch, and navigating a breastfeeding journey that works best for my family. I really appreciate that her guidance is practical and individualized to what works for us. After every session, I leave with a clear plan and helpful resources. I only wish I had found Megan sooner and scheduled with her before my baby arrived. She has been an incredible resource, and I would highly recommend her to any new or expecting mom!

Megan is fantastic! It was so nice that she came to my home in the postpartum period, and she gave great advice to support me in my breastfeeding journey. Would definitely recommend!

Megan at Breezy Babies was so helpful with breastfeeding! She brought her own scale to measure baby's weight before and after feeding him to see how much he ate. We discussed tongue tie relief options and breast care to avoid mastitis. She recommended things like breast gymnastics, lymphatic draining, pumping best practices when you have an oversupply, icing, and probiotics for me and baby while I’m on an antibiotic. We have already seen such an improvement with latching and breast comfort. I am so glad I reached out to Megan! And my insurance even covered the visits! Always a plus. I would 10/10 recommend Megan and Breezy Babies!!

Frequently asked questions

Should I meet with a Lactation Consultant before baby arrives?

Many families find prenatal lactation visits incredibly helpful!! Meeting before birth allows us to talk through your feeding goals, discuss what to expect in the early days, and make a plan that feels realistic and supportive. Prenatal visits can be especially helpful if you have a history of feeding challenges, medical considerations, or simply want to feel more confident and prepared.

What happens during a lactation visit?

Visits are individualized and centered around your goals. We’ll review feeding history, assess latch and positioning, and observe a feeding when appropriate. During in-person visits, we can also complete a weighted feed to assess how much milk your baby transfers at the breast. Together, we’ll create a clear, practical plan in a calm, judgment-free environment.

Do you help with pumping, flange fitting, or bottle challenges?

Yep, sure do! I provide pumping support including flange sizing and pump optimization to improve comfort and milk removal. I have most sizes and shapes available on the market so we can find which ones are best for YOU! I also help families work through bottle-related challenges such as bottle refusal, transitioning between breast and bottle, and paced feeding techniques.

Do you offer virtual visits?

Yes. Virtual lactation visits can be a great option for prenatal education, pumping support, follow-ups, and many feeding concerns. They allow for flexible scheduling while still providing personalized support.
