I Have always been drawn to everything pregnancy and birth and babies since I was in my early teens when I helped a friend labor during her birth. Since then I've been hooked. I would be honored to help guide you through this new journey, helping to educate you on the different choices you have during your pregnancy, labor and birth so that when it's time, you feel confident in the choices you make and can advocate for them. Hi! I'm Kim. I'm a mom of two and I've been supporting families in the central valley and beyond since 2018. I began this journey as a postpartum doula and eventually realized my passion was helping families reach their lactation and feeding goals. As a lactation consultant I can assist with prenatal education, all things breastfeeding and pumping related including flange fitting. I can help with latching, positioning and all sorts of breastfeeding challenges including nipple pain, engorgement, milk supply and introducing bottles and returning to work. I have specific education and training regarding lip & tongue ties as well . I am also able to bill a variety of insurance companies for services!

During my journey through early motherhood, I saw the struggles of myself and friends. I found a passion for helping others. While doing my training to become a postpartum doula, I realized I also loved learning about breastfeeding. This ignited a fire for me to complete the certification process to become a lactation counselor as well. I provide overnight support of newborns as well resources and education on various infant care topics. I also do in home lactation visits.

I work as a nanny and have loved the career I have established for myself, but am ready to move forward in providing care to mamas and newborns during the prenatal, labor, and postpartum stages. I recently got to experience this with one of my nanny families which ultimately encouraged me to pursue this career professionally. The experience in caring for a postpartum mother to twins has really provided me with knowledge in doing the same for many others.
