About Kim

Hi! I'm Kim. I'm a mom of two and I've been supporting families in the central valley and beyond since 2018. I began this journey as a postpartum doula and eventually realized my passion was helping families reach their lactation and feeding goals. As a lactation consultant I can assist with prenatal education, all things breastfeeding and pumping related including flange fitting. I can help with latching, positioning and all sorts of breastfeeding challenges including nipple pain, engorgement, milk supply and introducing bottles and returning to work. I have specific education and training regarding lip & tongue ties as well . I am also able to bill a variety of insurance companies for services!

Frequently asked questions

What is a IBCLC?

IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. All IBCLCs have demonstrated an average of 1,000 clinical hours and completed at least 90 hours of advanced lactation education. An IBCLC is also required to sit for an initial exam, and recertify every five years (to ensure he/she is up to date on all information and practices). The credential is considered the gold standard for lactation consultants and is the only credential recognized by hospitals and most insurance companies for reimbursement.
