Hi. I’m an AAPI DONA trained birth doula and breastfeeding educator located in Roseville, Ca. I accept Medi-Cal, Tri-Care, All Kaiser Plans, All Health Net plans, Medi-cal Anthem and Partnership Health Plan insurance. I serve the areas of Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Auburn, Sacramento, and surrounding areas. I have knowledge in cultural sensitivity, premature birth, preemie care, lactation, and postpartum care. Sherilyn Johnson has always had a special love for babies. Growing up in Alaska with six siblings, she learned the importance of family and caregiving from an early age. After marrying her husband, she earned her nursing degree and began her journey in Maternal Child Health in 1985. Together, they raised five children and now feel blessed to have 9 grandchildren. In 2003, Sherilyn became a Lactation Specialist at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. By 2006, she became an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). With experience in labor and delivery, mother-baby care, and lactation support, Sherilyn has dedicated her career to helping mothers and babies thrive. She has also shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer on lactation at WSU and has led mother-baby support groups. In 2014, Sherilyn and her family moved to central Washington. Seeing a need for more lactation support in her community, she fulfilled her life long dream and opened a private practice breastfeeding clinic. Cuddles and Cream Lactation was born in July, 2019. Sherilyn values continuing education and attended the Master IBCLC Course in 2020 and 2022. She collaborates with family practice providers, pediatric dentists, pediatricians, pediatric bodyworkers OBGYN’s and many others to provide comprehensive care for breastfeeding families. Maternal Wellness has been a Doula and Breastfeeding Support Organization since 2015. Maternal Wellness was one of the first Doula Organizations statewide back when Doula services were hardly recognized and were not covered or supported by Insurance companies or medical providers. Hi! I'm Kim. I'm a mom of two and I've been supporting families in the central valley and beyond since 2018. I began this journey as a postpartum doula and eventually realized my passion was helping families reach their lactation and feeding goals. As a lactation consultant I can assist with prenatal education, all things breastfeeding and pumping related including flange fitting. I can help with latching, positioning and all sorts of breastfeeding challenges including nipple pain, engorgement, milk supply and introducing bottles and returning to work. I have specific education and training regarding lip & tongue ties as well . I am also able to bill a variety of insurance companies for services!
