I plan to give birth in a hospital and I do not have a birth plan yet. This is our first time with this and I do not know what my budget would be. I'm trying to see what it costs on average before I make a decision.

My name is Michaela and I am 32 weeks pregnant, due November 9th, and currently looking for a doula. My main reason in wanting a doula is that this is my second pregnancy (May 2024) and I very much want a VBAC, so having a doula that is experienced with VBACs is important to me. I am also African American and we have higher chances of c-sections, preterm births and mortality rates so it is important that everyone on my birth team understands that and helps advocate for me and my baby. I will be delivering at Texas Health HEB and budget is roughly $1500 or less, especially since I have limited time left. First pregnancy and im having twins, i would like to have them naturally but the doctors are already talking about inducing me at 32 or 34 weeks possible c section i am only 29 weeks, i currently have medicaid .
