Fort Worth - Baylor Scott. I am considered a high risk pregnancy due to chronic pain and a recent back surgery. I dont have a birth plan at this time. Im seeking support and advice on ways to cope with my pain, while navigating the pregnancy.

My main requirement is postpartum support after coming home, rather than labor/birth support. * Requirements for the provider: Prefer an Indian postpartum doula, if available, or someone familiar with Indian postpartum traditions and food. I would prefer someone experienced with newborns and first-time mothers. Postpartum doula certification/newborn-care training and infant CPR/first-aid knowledge are preferred. An Indian language is a plus but not mandatory. * Details about care recipients: First-time mother and newborn baby. I’m looking for someone who can help me recover after delivery while teaching/guiding me with newborn care, diapering, soothing, bathing, safe sleep, and establishing a routine. I would also like breastfeeding/feeding support and guidance, as needed. * Additional duties: Primarily mother and newborn care. Light baby-related duties such as washing/sterilizing bottles and pump parts, baby laundry, and keeping the baby’s area organized would be helpful. Light cooking/meal preparation, especially Indian postpartum meals, would be a big plus. I’m not looking for heavy house cleaning.

I came across your profile and wanted to reach out because I'm currently looking for a birth doula. I wanted to see if you participate in the TRICARE Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration. From my understanding, TRICARE covers up to 6 hours of antepartum and/or postpartum doula visits (which can be divided into 15-minute increments however we'd like), along with one continuous labor support visit during the birth. I also understand that, to be eligible for TRICARE coverage, doulas must be certified through one of TRICARE's approved certifying organizations (such as DONA International) and have an active National Provider Identifier (NPI) for billing. Are you certified through a TRICARE-approved organization and do you have an active NPI? If so, I'd love to learn more about your services, your availability around my October due date, what your birth support includes, and how the TRICARE billing process works. Since this is our first baby, I'm hoping to find a calm, supportive doula who has experience working with first-time moms and who works well alongside my husband, as he'll be my primary support person during labor. We're expecting our first child, a daughter, on November 6th, and we're currently at 25 weeks. We'll be delivering at Texas Health Harris Methodist Southwest in Fort Worth with Dr. Stacy Butler, so experience at that specific hospital is a plus. The main reason we want a doula is that I will be my wife's only support person in the room. We don't have family nearby and aren't planning to have anyone else at the birth, so we're looking for someone who can provide continuous support through a long labor and give me a chance to eat and rest without leaving my wife alone. Reliable backup coverage matters to us for the same reason. A few things that are important to us: My wife wants to keep her options open on pain management, including an epidural. We're looking for someone who will support whatever she decides in the moment rather than steering her toward or away from any particular kind of birth. We are formula feeding exclusively and have already made that decision, so we'd like a doula who is comfortable with that and won't push breastfeeding. We are not religious. We don't mind if a doula is personally religious, but we would prefer that faith, prayer, or scripture not be part of our birth experience. We're also interested in hands-on preparation. Childbirth education as part of a package is something we'd consider. Having birth doula, postpartum doula, as well as night services available from the same provider is a plus. We'd like to book within the next few weeks and are flexible on scheduling consultations, including evenings and weekends.

I am planning to have an unmedicated water birth at the Fort Worth Birthing Center. My budget for a doula is around $1,000 I’m currently creating my birth plan, and since this is my first pregnancy, I would really appreciate a doula who can help guide and educate me throughout the preparation process. I want to feel physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for birth. I plan to breastfeed, but I’m not interested in direct latching. I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and I would love to have a doula who is comfortable incorporating prayer, scripture, and faith-based encouragement into my birth experience. I want the atmosphere surrounding my labor and birth to feel peaceful, supportive, and centered around God. Feeding, diapering, bathing, soothing, nap time, baby laundry, baby dishes. Three days a week. CPR, first aid certified. Experienced with newborn care. $25 to $30 an hour.

Plan to give birth at fort worth birthing and wellness center. Our estimated budget is very low which is why i am looking for one covered by medicaid. Birth plan i want to be as unmedicated as possible, focusing on pain management techniques that are not medicated. I have Texas star medicaid but have not picked a plan yet.
