About me

Welcome! I'm Doula Mindy and I am passionate about the health of young children and families, in all their unique beauty. For the last 25 years I have been an Early Intervention Specialist and Early Childhood Special Education teacher. As a postpartum doula, I love working with families in their home, using the equipment and materials they have available and meeting each person where they are emotionally, mentally and experientially. As a parent coach, working with families through a virtual platform has been a game changer. We can dive deep into developmental issues and parents leave each session with new tools in their toolbox. While I love working with all families, I have a special place in my heart for parents with: *traumatic birth stories *a child in or transitioning from NICU *multiples *infants with identified disabilities *neurodiverse parents *neurodiverse children *diverse family structures In my free time, I enjoy exploring the PNW with my partner in our camper van, reading in my hammock, trying to grow things in my garden, spending time with my adult daughter, and snuggling with my two doxies.
