Birth & Postpartum Doula

About me

Hello all! I am Monica Piton, and it is my absolute joy to work as a labor and postpartum doula, as well as provide lactation support. With every family I work alongside, my goal is to provide knowledge, experience, and support to empower you to make confident and peaceful decisions in your birthing process. Learning about human growth and development has always fascinated me, leading me to earn my undergraduate degree in Biology and my Masters of Education. Becoming pregnant with my first daughter fueled this passion further as I was eager to learn more about physiological birthing. I enrolled in a Hypnobabies course in awe of our natural ability to create and birth life. Equipped with this education and a strong support system–including my own doula–I was able to birth both of my daughters in a way that aligned with my values and was both beautiful and calm. It is my hope to be part of this support system for other women to allow their births to be full of empowerment, excitement, and joy.
