I want a compassionate doula who has experience with birthing

I am looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable doula who can provide emotional, physical, and educational support throughout labor and delivery. I would like help with comfort measures, breathing techniques, labor positions, and guidance for my husband so he feels confident supporting me. I hope to have a calm, positive birth experience with someone who will advocate for my preferences while respecting my medical team. I would also appreciate breastfeeding support and some postpartum guidance after the birth. I am planning to give birth at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. Flexible—I plan to use my Medi-Cal doula benefit.

I'm looking for a birth doula who can operate from a hospital. Ideally if they are registered with Los Robles hospital that would be amazing as I could cover it with insurance. Otherwise I will have to pay out of pocket and while I want support, birth is expensive. I want someone to be three throughout the birth and coach me through it as this is my first baby and I'm trying to do a natural birth in the hospital. I have an amazing midwife who operates out of Los Robles so we'll be doing that there. My ideal midwife would be spiritual - have sound bowls or suggestions for good music, sounds, breathing techniques, positions and natural herbs, oils and yoni steams to help bring a baby into this world in the most natural way possible given the circumstances.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. This is my first pregnancy, and I want to try to attempt the whole labor and delivery process without an epidural, if i can or for as long as i can, and if i cant handle it then possibly get an epidural. I need someone to help coach me through the process of labor and delivery when my early labor starts to when i go to hospital and even while pushing. I also need someone to help advocate for me and my husband at the hospital in case the nurses and doctors try over stepping and pushing things on us. We want to avoid certain vaccines for baby as well. I want to avoid getting induced. I also need a doula that will stay after the delivery and help coach me and get me through the pospartum phase in the hospital.

I plan on birthing in San Antonio Regional Hospital in Upland CA. I would like to have as least medical interventions as possible however while still in a hospital setting in case it is medically necessary to intervene. I would like to have a doula for supporting my husband and I in preparation for this to be possible as well as postpartum support to help me get settled in as a new mother healing from birthing. I don’t have a set budget as I am unaware of the costs that go into this. But we are willing to work towards meeting our needs. Hello! I just learned of these benefits so I know I’m looking for a doula late. This will be my second birth, my first was a Csection. My OB says I’m a great candidate for a tolac. I want a vbac, possibly unmedicated. I need help with how to get birth ready. Also, someone who can advocate for me. I live in Canyon Country, but will be giving birth at Kaiser Woodland Hills.

I will be delivering at Pomona Valley, likely in December, possibly early January. I am insured by IEHP Direct through Medi-Cal. I want as natural birth as possible in the sense that I only want medical intervention if it is absolutely necessary (no induction, no episiotomy etc). I am going in expecting to need an epidural but am also open to the idea of being unmedicated. I am looking for someone to assist with pain management and advocacy while in labor and for education in early/postpartum care for my baby (tips/tricks/lactation/mama stomach wrapping).
