I plan on giving birth in a hospital. My budget is around $1500. My ideal birth plan, I want my husband in the room. I want to be able to walk around or be on a birthing ball. I want to try to have a natural birth but if I get to be in too much pain I want an epidural. This will be my second birth. I’m not opposed to an epidural. I want to try to have a natural birth but it any complications come up and a c-section is necessary I’m also not opposed, whatever is safe for me and baby. I want to have help with breathing techniques and coaching when it’s time to push. I don’t want forceps used, if help for baby is needed than I’m not opposed to the vacuum as a last option (avoid if possible). Delayed cord clamping for 2 mins. Skin to skin with mom and dad. I want to breast feed.

I need someone who would be with me during birth and post partum. My husband would be occupied with the kids so I need someone who focus Is on me during birth.

I am a young first time mom who is very organic and natural. I don’t want to go to a hospital because I do not trust or believe them. They also scare me. I like to be very hands on and prefer someone who is okay taking the backseat or driving so to speak, whenever I express so. If out of pocket, I’d like to stay close to $4,000 for prenatal care and birth. I’d like a person who is knowledgeable in breastfeeding and who can assist immediately after birth or direct me to someone who can.

Hello, I would like to give birth at home to a baby boy, preferably a water birth. I am NOT interested in a epidural or vaccines, as we plan to delay a majority. There will be a circumcision to plan. We live in an apartment and have a tub, but would like to purchase a birthing tub. I’m hoping to have a home birth covered by insurance, I applied for Medicade and am waiting to hear about approvals for MCO Carefirst blue cross Blue shield. Looking for a faith-based doula for L&D and postpartum breastfeeding support. My last experience was without one and I feel having an experienced advocate in the room will be helpful. I want someone to help me feel supported and help me voice my preferences / needs during. Having a vaginal birth with minimal intervention is important to me. I’d love to birth at home but husband prefers we do hospital so we’ll be doing York wellspan hospital. Budget is ~$1500, and birth plan is as above, and limiting iv fluids, limiting induction interventions and avoiding C-section when able, and birthing in positions other than on back and legs up. Golden hour. Set up for best success with breastfeeding. Etc.
