With 30+ years of experience in maternal child healthcare, I bring a well-rounded approach to lactation support. My professional journey includes extensive experience as a NICU nurse, where I provided comprehensive care, including assisting breastfeeding mothers. More recently, I've focused on providing skilled lactation support across different stages - from prenatal preparation through postpartum care, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I’m Carolyn Hose, IBCLC, and I have over 20 years experience working with new families in both the hospital and private practice settings to help families find breastfeeding/lactation to be the nurturing, enjoyable and abundantly healthy way of feeding and caring for babies. I bring compassion, expert care and lots of wisdom and experience to help families reach their feeding goals in how that works best for them. I believe in bringing personalized care through listening and learning about what works best for a family and use my abundant knowledge and resources to personalize an effective care plan tailored to the needs of the families I serve.

Katie Skaggs BSN, RNC-MNN, IBCLC, CEIM, CFT Provider Hi! I'm Katie and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Bachelor's prepared Registered Nurse certified in Maternal/Newborn Nursing. I am a Certified Educator of Infant Massage, and I am trained in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy. I spent 13 years working in-patient with families during these precious first days of meeting their new baby, and now I have my own private practice. Every day is different with new challenges and unique family dynamics, but it is always an honor to be part of their journey. Each of us has our own path that leads us to where we are, and I truly feel this is what I am meant to be doing — supporting women, nurturing families, and helping you to achieve your goals whatever they may be. I am a mother to two boys, and while I did breastfeed them both, it was not without challenges. A dear friend and IBCLC came to my home to help me during that time and I was so incredibly grateful for her help and guidance. She changed our trajectory, and it was in this moment I knew I would pay this gift forward someday. Something fun about me is that this is my second chapter. I spent my first 10 years after high school dancing professionally for the Richmond Ballet. While in many ways it feels like a completely different world, it provided me with an incredible work ethic, a desire to understand how the physical body works, and the realization that to connect with other humans you too have to be vulnerable.

Hi! I’m Kelsey, and I have been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2018 working in both the hospital and pediatric office setting. I am also a Bachelor’s prepared Registered Nurse and have worked postpartum/newborn care since 2016. I have helped thousands of mothers just like you navigate the first few moments after birth up to one year postpartum. My life’s passion is celebrating with young families the birth of their babies, in addition to helping with their feeding struggles. I want mothers to feel supported and educated to provide the nurturing care they deserve.

Erin is a lactation consultant, IBCLC, and childbirth educator, LCCE, with nearly 20 years supporting growing families. Erin is passionate about empowering families beginning during pregnancy and continuing throughout the first year and beyond. Erin uses evidence based practices to educate and encourage families to set goals related to birth and feeding their babies. When Erin isn’t supporting other families, she’s usually at some sort of sporting event or outdoor activity with her husband and three kids, ages 17, 13 and 9.

My goal is to provide compassionate, expert in-home & virtual support for lactation and infant feeding challenges. I specialize in breast pumps & flange fitting, tethered oral tissue (include tongue ties), oral rehabilitation, engorgement, mastitis, nipple pain & damage, and much more! We proudly offer services that are neurodivergent-friendly, LGBTQ+ inclusive, and aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES) principals.
