I am giving birth at Vanderbilt birth center in Nashville, this is my second child and I was unsuccessful with breast-feeding my first. I could not get him to latch and my midwife did not help me and nor did I have a lactation consultant so I ended up exclusively pumping. I want to exclusively breast-feed with this baby.

I plan to give birth at a hospital in Nashville. Since our insurance does not cover a doula our estimated budget is $1000. I am not sure exactly what my birth plan will be. With a medical condition I think I do plan to get the epidural at some point. I do want delayed cord clamping, no eyedrops, and minimal interventions. I want my provider to be certified and have experience helping first time moms that do not deal with pain well. I am 25 and possible have POTS or Vasovagal syncopy. I would love someone who also is a lactation consultant
Hospital depends on what’s offered. Unmedicated no interventions all natural prefer some years experience someone who is able to coach me through it and keep to birth plan
I'm a new mom and want to setup with a lactation consultant before baby is here so I'm ready with support if breastfeeding isn't going well, I've heard many things can go wrong and simply just being guided with the right tools will help. I want my 6-week old evaluated for ties. She has a bad latch that started off fine. I’m concerned about transfer.. so would like to do a weight review before and after feed. She is clicking and will not open wide generally. If she does she slides down to just the nipples shortly after. She is frustrated I’m frustrated
