Looking for a christian based lactation consultant

8 week old that had a strong latch with lactation after birth, but has a tongue tie. I’ve been experiencing a blood blister on my left nipple that causes a lot of pain, and our NPC doesn’t want to cut the tie because he’s been gaining weight efficiently. I can hear swallows and baby has enough wet/dirty diapers each day, but I dread having him feed on that side cause of the pain. I’d like an at home/in person visit for the first evaluation and then online after is fine. I am insured, but would like the cheapest out of pocket option on top of that. With being on maternity leave, my budget isn’t huge.

Interested in an in home lactation consultant for when my daughter is born

I’m struggling with my supply after a traumatic birth even at 8 weeks pp. I have tried so many things to increase and have only been able to get it up to 1.5-2oz per pump compared to .25-.5oz per pump

2.5 wks PP, concerns about latch. Often lots of spitup, baby often seems gassy and fussy after feeding. 2nd time mom. Must take BCBS PPO of TN, virtual is fine but in person if possible

It is my first time breast feeding and while I think it’s going well I do experience some pain when he latches. I had a c-section and am unable to drive so I would need an in-home visit.

5 days postpartum, milk has come in but has not let down yet and have not been able to express milk in 24 hours. Breasts are tender, swollen, warm, and very engorged. Supplementing with formula for now

Five day boy who latched amazing and nursed for 10-20 minutes each side/time. Once home and moms started to come in he’s not latching and sleeps a lot. Mom has larger heavy breasts and his mouth is so small he isn’t latching and gets so tired fighting that he falls asleep. Mom & baby are frustrated. Weight loss.

Delivering at Parkridge in Chattanooga TN, this will be my first baby, so I want to learn a lot. I want a doula to support me and to help my husband know how to support me throughout labor in a hospital setting. I am thinking of using a low dosage of epidural, not the full thing so I can labor actively. But there is so much I don’t know yet so that could change.
