Baby lost 10% weight on day 2, and have been trying to nurse and with top offs stabilized and is gaining, and after trying just breastfeeds she is still gaining but slower than average. Would love to evaluate latch and possible ties. She was born 38.3 wks on 8/8/26. She was 5 9.5 went down to that 10.4% weight loss mark, and is now back up at 9 days newborn to 6.13.5 lbs. I had a weigh in on Wed she was 6.11. So over Wed-Mon thats 5 days, she gained only 2oz. Ped currently wants me to nurse within 15 min window, top off with pumped breastmilk for 15, to keep the feed 30min and conserve energy to gain more weight better. But ped definitely wanta an eval from a LC.

Delivering at Parkridge in Chattanooga TN, this will be my first baby, so I want to learn a lot. I want a doula to support me and to help my husband know how to support me throughout labor in a hospital setting. I am thinking of using a low dosage of epidural, not the full thing so I can labor actively. But there is so much I don’t know yet so that could change.

Hi! I will give birth at Erlanger East Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. This will be our first baby. Looking for support leading up to birth and during the birth to support both me and my husband. No clue what sort of pricing this looks like so looking forward to hearing more. I would love to avoid a C-section if possible. Other than that, I would love a calm birth where I feel comfortable and supported and not stressed. Would love lactation support as well. No requirements, would love someone with great reviews.
