Hi , I’m Marissa. I’m 25 years old and I’m due October 24th 2026. My husband and I are having a baby girl. I am interested having a doula through my Medicaid Insurance. I just really need the basics of just an extra advocate to be there in the hospital. I think it’s the smartest decision to have someone else besides my husband advocating for me if hospital gives me push back. I am planning to do an unmedicated birth , with free moving and switching positions. I believe if you are stressed and only allowed to be just on your back it doesn’t promote a smooth delivery. I really want to stick with my beliefs unless it’s a serious emergency . I want the experience to be as natural as possible unless it’s urgent.
Id prefer home birth but im still trying to connect with and hire a midwife... I have Husky A pregnancy insurance. But i really dont want a medicated birth. Id like to be able to listen to and respect my body during my laboring process. Id really like to have a doula that supports me and my physiology.
This will be mine and my husband’s first child. We are looking for in person sessions to discuss my birth plan, mental preparation and postpartum care.
Plan to give birth in the hospital. Budget is low. My First pregnancy. I speak English and Portuguese. 35 years old.
St Charles Hospital, 5k budget for midwife, limited interventions, epidural. For night nursing I would actually just need a few nights a week between the hours of 3pm to 12 pm every other week because of my work schedule with possible.
I plan to give birth at Stamford Hospital. This is my first pregnancy after a long journey of infertility and I really don't know what I am looking for specifically in terms of birth because there are so many options and I have so many questions and I would like someone to be able to help explain my options and how to best convey them and advocate for them.
Hello! My husband and I are expecting our first baby after an IVF journey, and I am currently 11 weeks pregnant. We are exploring doula support for our pregnancy and birth and would love to find a bilingual (Spanish-English) doula. We are planning to deliver at a hospital in the Norwalk or Stamford, CT area. I’m looking for someone who can provide emotional support, guidance during labor and delivery, and help us feel confident and informed throughout this experience. Thank you, Liliane Becerra
