This will be my first child, so I'm not exactly sure what kind of help I will need and I would love to find out what kind of help doula's are able to provide. I'm 38 years old and very healthy. Ideally I would like to have a home birth, but I am exploring having a hospital birth at Yale as well. Would a doula be covered by husky if I had a home birth?

Giving birth at Yale, would love to have a home birth if possible. My pregnancy is low risk and this will be my third natural delivery resulting in live birth. I am also interested in a possible night time nanny. My birth plan is very minimal. No pain meds, birthing pool if possible, I do not want to be on my back when pushing, no IVs, baby remains with mom and immediate skin to skin with delayed cord clamping and placenta preservation.
