Hello, I am looking for a birth doula and a post partum doula. This will be my first child, so I'm not exactly sure what kind of help I will need and I would love to find out what kind of help doula's are able to provide. I'm 38 years old and very healthy. Ideally I would like to have a home birth, but I am exploring having a hospital birth at Yale as well. Would a doula be covered by husky if I had a home birth?

I want a hospital birth. It’s my first time having a baby and I need a doula. I want a doula who accepts insurance. (Husky).

I will be having twins at Bridgeport hospital. Ideally if there are no complications I would like to give birth vaginally with as little medical intervention as possible. This is my first pregnancy and I am 35 so given my age and the fact that I am having twins, I’m considered high risk.

Hospital birth- not entirely sure how cost works, and would want to see if my insurance covers any care- I would ideally (could definitely change) like to aim for a natural birth. I previously gave birth to my second son at home and would love to do it again. My husband and I would just like assistance from a doula this time around. I feel the process would less stressful and much more memorable with a doula, however I do plan to go to hospital afterwards to make sure everything is okay medically with the baby and I.
