Chandel is a gem! She was communicative from the start, and went the extra mile when it came to insurance verification, which is usually an annoying process. She was such a calming and supportive presence during those overwhelming first few weeks with our newborn. Her steady reassurance, patience, and kindness made a huge difference for our family during a challenging transition. We felt genuinely cared for and supported every step of the way.

I also provide help around the home whether that be cooking, cleaning or any light household chores. In terms of my achievements, I have had the privilege of helping numerous families navigate the wonderful yet challenging journey of welcoming a new baby into their lives. By implementing effective sleep and feeding routines, I have helped establish a sense of calm and stability during the critical postpartum period.

Breanna Gay was an amazing postpartum doula for our newborn baby boy Dekari from June 2023 to August 2023. She was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us through our first couple of months at home. Any questions we had, she was able to answer. As nervous first-time parents, we had so many questions, but she made us feel much more comfortable knowing that she was super experienced, and it showed! From the beginning, she was there to support us, even before our baby was born. We were able to text her all of our questions, and she replied quickly. She came in and helped us organize our nursery and set up all our gadgets. When our baby came home, she was there the first night, supporting us through breastfeeding and our long nights. She even helped tidy up the house and made me a little midnight snack because Iwas up all night. Breanna is such a joy to have, and I would recommend her to any family looking for support.

Let us build a village together

After having a pregnancy that was not like my first for reasons other than health, I received a postpartum herbal bath from Alexandra. The experience was truly exceptional as the way in which she took her time to curate a bath that was specific to me and my needs was barely the pinnacle of my experience. In moments of uncertainty as a mother, whether it is your first or your third, the care you receive matters. Receiving care from Alexandra is an experience within itself that can only be described within a feeling, one that is sweetened with care and someone who is committed to carrying you to the other of your vulnerability. I recommend her services to others as she is an exceptional individual who is serious about her craft and the care of the children in which she assisted in coming into this world. Again, I can not fully put into words what it is like as you would have to experience her services to understand. I can say within a day I was up and walking, and the aches and pain had vanished seemingly overnight after the bath. Simply plain and put she is passionate and dedicated and will show up for you.

Geeta supported our family as an overnight doula during the first few weeks of our daughter’s life, and having her in our home was such a relief and a pleasure. She not only made us feel more confident as parents, but took time to check in on my own recovery in addition to caring for our daughter. She was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I work in homes and virtually as a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula, dedicated to supporting families during the earliest and most transformative stage of parenthood. My work centers on evidence-based newborn care, sleep shaping/sleep conditioning, feeding support, and creating calm, sustainable routines that help both babies and parents thrive. I believe the postpartum period deserves thoughtful, knowledgeable guidance, and I approach each family with professionalism, discretion, and deep respect for their values. I primarily work through the agency Well Supported Family, which provides experienced in-home newborn and postpartum support for families across the United States. Our team includes Newborn Care Specialists, Postpartum Doulas, RNs and LPNs who offer overnight newborn care, daytime postpartum support, and extended care for families adjusting to life with a new baby. Our work focuses on safe sleep practices, feeding support, and helping parents establish sustainable routines so the entire family can rest and recover during the early weeks at home. I cannot contact on this site, so please email info@wellsupportedfamily.com

Working with Karina during the first months was truly one of the best decisions we made as new parents. From the very first night, we felt calm knowing our baby was in capable, knowledgeable hands. She not only helped us establish a gentle and sustainable sleep routine but also took the time to explain the ‘why’ behind everything, which gave us so much confidence. Our home felt peaceful, our baby was thriving, and we were finally able to rest. We’re incredibly grateful for the professionalism, warmth, and steady guidance during such a vulnerable time!

I provide compassionate, holistic, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment, honoring your choices and helping families feel confident, seen, and celebrated. My goal is to leave families not only with a positive birth and postpartum experience but also with a renewed sense of strength, resilience, and joy.

We worked with Netta and Doula Dynasty for four months for overnights from the day we brought our second daughter home from the hospital. From that first night, Netta was incredible. Very caring, responsible, professional and safe with our daughter and also supportive of me postpartum. She is positive, loving and knows exactly what to do to help your baby sleep so that you can get some rest. She’s also helped us during the day too and is a lovely person. Highly recommend!

Chamaine Lucas-Jones

My name is Chamaine, I am Birthing Postpartum Doula with a deep commitment to supporting families through one of life’s most transformative experiences. I bring a nurturing presence and a calm, reassuring approach to help create a warm and comforting environment where parents feel truly supported and valued. My mission is to offer compassionate, knowledgeable care to families welcoming new life—guiding them through both the joyful moments and the inevitable challenges with patience, empathy, and expertise. In addition to my core practice, I have experience working in kosher kitchens and providing attentive, respectful care for infants following their bris, ensuring families feel confident and cared for during this sacred time.

Recent review

We had the pleasure of having Chamaine support and guide us for the first five weeks after our daughter was born via C-section. As first-time parents returning home after a difficult pregnancy followed by a brief NICU stay, we felt very overwhelmed and anxious about entering the new phase of our lives. Chamaine was like a ray of sunshine entering our home, providing us with an instant sense of warmth and comfort. She made a concerted effort to connect with and care for our entire family, including our newborn daughter, our (extremely needy) dog, and both of us parents. We’ve gleaned so much valuable knowledge from Chamaine that we will surely carry with us throughout parenthood. We couldn’t have asked for someone more nurturing, responsible, thoughtful, and attentive to care for our daughter, and it brought us so much peace to know that she was in such great hands each day and night. We were so lucky to have had Chamaine as our baby nurse, and none of us (dog included!) could have gotten through this challenging adjustment period without her. We appreciate her tremendously and she will always be a very special part of our family!
