I’m very grateful to have this as my service in this lifetime and believe every new life is a gift to be honored with care, love and respect for the process. Trained in techniques that encourage optimal fetal positioning by finding balance in the body (more comfort during pregnancy as well as labor/birth) optimal positioning helps labor be more comfortable, increasing odds of a efficient and smoother vaginal birth. I share these techniques with my clients in the third trimester to decrease the use of interventions & prevent trauma. Also practicing placenta encapsulation and massage therapy at Full Moon Birth & Family Wellness Center.

My role as a birth doula is to create a safe space and empower all birthing persons to have a positive birth experience. I greatly enjoy working as a team with the birthing person, partner and caregivers.

In 2014, after having my own home birth with a midwife, I knew that I wanted to help expectant families have that same empowered and supported birthing experience that I did. I am dedicated to making sure that you and your partner feel like you have the skills you need to have the most positive birth experience as possible. I love to explore and research ways to provide you with continuous support, and use evidence based information so that you can make educated decisions during your pregnancy, birth, and into postpartum. I support families all throughout the following areas: South Bay, Peninsula, San Francisco, and East Bay. I am 100% vaccinated and boosted.

Supporting birth is my life’s purpose. Growing up, I had the great privilege of attending the births of all 3 of my younger siblings. I was completely in love with the magic of pregnancy, childbirth, and brand new babies and families from then on. I have been a doula since 2024 and attended 60+ births since then. I’ve seen people birth their babies all different ways: hospital, home, birth center, water birth, unmedicated, with epidurals, planned cesareans, unplanned cesareans, twins, and VBACs. I see birth as a family centered event, no matter where and how it occurs. I am currently attending a local registered nursing program. After obtaining my RN, I hope to gain my master’s degree in nurse-midwifery. With my educational background, and passion for knowing the intricacies of the human body, I offer a unique perspective while providing doula care to my clients. I’m here to support your choices, help you understand your options, advocate for your voice, and create a safe, nonjudgmental space for you and your family. I welcome private-pay clients and also work with Blooming Families Doula Services, where eligible families may be able to use insurance. If you choose the insurance route, you’ll complete an intake with Blooming Families and can request me as your doula—or choose another doula if they feel like a better fit. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident knowing you have someone who truly cares in your corner.

Also, I am AHA certified in infant, children, adult CPR, and a certified newborn care specialist, and postpartum Doula. As a doula and childbirth educator with over 20 years of experience, I have come to learn that compassionate support is the most important thing I bring to birth. Close to 1000 births matters. Having taught 1000s of couples in childbirth classes matters. Hello, I’m Rebecca DeMartini Certified and trained through The Matrone (Diane Bartlett), Dona International, Spinning Babies, Cornerstone Doulas, Hearthstone Midwifery, Hands on hands in womb care, Lactation, Innate Postpartum, Doula Trainings International, CPR and Neo-Natal Resuscitation. Thinking midwifery was the next step I trained 2.5 years and gained valuable experience, knowledge and wisdom from the amazing midwives I had the honor of working with. Ultimately I decided it wasn’t my calling or my passion the way being a Doula is. I am passionately committed to all families on their journey through fertility, birth and postpartum and know birth intimately. My name is Reena, and I bring over 20 years of experience caring for infants and young children. I am a trained birth and postpartum doula, prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher, and have additional training in pelvic floor rehabilitation and postpartum recovery. I am also a mother and have homeschooled my son for the past seven years. I specialize in supporting families with babies ages 0-12 months. My care includes newborn and infant care, feeding support, soothing techniques, holding baby while parents rest or attend appointments, and light household tasks related to baby care. I’m a birth and postpartum doula trained through The Circle Family Center, a certified 500-hour yoga teacher with six years of experience specializing in pre and postnatal yoga, and a trained mindfulness childbirth educator through the Mindfulness Childbirth Class with Nancy Bardacki. My work integrates mindfulness, embodiment, and evidence-based education to support parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with confidence, clarity, and calm. She supports families through hospital, birth center, and home births, providing compassionate, personalized care to help parents feel confident and supported as they welcome their new baby.
