Hi! My name is Amanda. I’m a mom of four and a postpartum doula, and I truly love what I do. I love taking care of babies, supporting families, and especially helping new moms feel more confident and enjoy motherhood in a lighter, more peaceful way. I know that having a baby can be beautiful, but it can also be overwhelming, especially in the beginning. My goal is to make this season a little easier for every family I work with. I provide newborn care, overnight support, and guidance with feeding and baby routines, always respecting each family’s needs and preferences. I want moms to feel supported, get some much-needed rest, and know that they don’t have to figure everything out alone. After reading Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth during my first pregnancy, I was introduced to the term “doula” and knew that I wanted to be one. With the birth of my second child and having a doula, I KNEW that this was my calling. I am especially passionate about working with families of color and other marginalized communities that need support during pregnancy and beyond. My name is Valerie Claxton, and I am an IBCLC, a certified childbirth educator, doula certified, and a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery living northern California. I have been on both sides of the labor and delivery journey as a nurse, I see mothers choosing what is best for them and advocating for them, whether going fully natural to using medicinal means to deliver. I know that with teamwork, belief, trust, releasing all fears, and encompassing a peaceful space that birthing your beautiful bundle will come easy. Yes, there are the unknowns but with constant communication and reassurance our relationship will be unbreakable. Hi! I'm Kim. I'm a mom of two and I've been supporting families in the central valley and beyond since 2018. I began this journey as a postpartum doula and eventually realized my passion was helping families reach their lactation and feeding goals. As a lactation consultant I can assist with prenatal education, all things breastfeeding and pumping related including flange fitting. I can help with latching, positioning and all sorts of breastfeeding challenges including nipple pain, engorgement, milk supply and introducing bottles and returning to work. I have specific education and training regarding lip & tongue ties as well . I am also able to bill a variety of insurance companies for services!
