Giving birth at Sutter health. We want cost efficient care, attempting a natural birth and the baby seems very healthy!
Hi Joanne, This is Yani, I’m inquiring to join your team.
Reaching out to see if you have availability to support our due date: July 30th, 2026. We are planning for an unmedicated hospital birth at Kaiser Oakland and are interested in in-person doula support. It’s our first baby! We’re hoping for support in preparing thoughtful and flexible birth preferences ahead of time, comfort and education throughout labor/birth, helping to hold our birth plan with the medical team during labor/birth, and guiding us through the unpredictability of labor so we can stay present with eachother/body/baby and make informed decisions as they come. Also curious about your openness to capture photo/video during birth. We are also interested in postpartum support, though we’re still learning and exploring what might be most resourcing, but are especially interested in breastfeeding support, settling into life at home, and support with my physical recovery. Curious about meal support in the first week. We’d love to learn more about Your availability to support a July 30th due date Confirmation that you would be available to support in-person for labor and birth Back-up plan/support if the baby comes earlier/later than due date, if you happen to be unavailable Confirmation that the doula is contracted directly with Kaiser Out of pocket cost(s) and reimbursement/billing process using Kaiser insurance If it feels aligned, we’d be happy to set up a time to connect by phone. We look forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Haley & Jesse (502)-387-9490
My husband Joshua and I are excited to welcome our first child this September. I'm currently 19 weeks along and planning to deliver with Kaiser (Oakland). I'm hoping to explore a more low-intervention birth experience, while still staying open to an epidural if I decide I want one. I'm really looking for a doula who can provide support, guidance, and help us feel informed and confident throughout the process, especially as first time parents. I'd love to learn more about your approach, the services you offer, and your availability around my due date. Please let me know if you're available to connect!
culturally affirming care for black queer family. care rooted in affirming guidance and support.
Greetings, My partner Chris and I are just starting our search for a birth doula. This will be our first baby and I have had a healthy pregnancy so far. I'm planning to give birth at Kaiser Oakland with an epidural. I would love to find a doula who has experience with Kaiser and billing as I understand that doulas could be covered by Kaiser. We are still very open minded about birth plan and hope to create this with support of a doula. What I do know is that I would be giving birth in a hospital setting, am 40 yo, this is my first childbirth, in support of an epidural, would like to avoid c-section. Help with positioning during labor, and someone who could normalize birthing for a first time mommy would be ideal!
Main requirement is to be able to work a few nights a week. Care for the baby so the parents can get some sleep.
I am giving birth at a hospital but working with a midwifery/birthing clinic. I am not sure on our budget yet. I am looking to have natural medication assisted birth
Hi! I am looking for a day postpartum doula service for 2-3 weeks for 4-5 days a weeks and 6-8 h a day. Please reach out if you accept Carrot insurance and have availability to support.
I am looking for a doula that can support me during birth and postpartum. I am located in Alameda and will likely be giving birth at the San Leandro Kaiser or Oakland Kaiser if I find the right doula. I currently have Kaiser and have confirmed that my insurance does cover doula support. I plan on birthing at the hospital, and I will be using pain medication to support me. I'm mostly looking for advocacy due to a traumatic birth experience at Kaiser Oakland, where they kept trying to push a C-section and tore my water without consent.

I’m looking for medical and emotional/spiritual support before and during birth, and support with feeding and just general questions post-birth. I would prefer an at-home birth but I am open to a birthing center. I am 37 and will be 38 at the time of birth and I’ll be a first-time mother. I plan on not using any drugs and I would prefer a tub birth with some candles and Enya and as chill as possible. My budget is pretty much nothing as I’m a returning college student. I have medí-cal so I’m hoping all of my services are covered my that. Thank you for your help!
