Chanley is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula
|
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32256, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: June 01, 2026
Hi! My name is Chanley and I’m currently pregnant with my first baby. My husband will be on deployment around the time the baby is supposed to be born. So I’m navigating a lot of this on my own. My family does support me, but they live a couple hours away, so they can’t always be here in person. I’m really looking for a doula who could provide some guidance, support, and reassurance through the rest of my pregnancy and during birth. Since this is my first baby, having someone experienced to help me understand what to expect and advocate for me would mean a lot. I also have TRICARE Prime, so I’m hoping to find someone familiar with that if possible. I’d love to talk more and see if we might be a good fit. Thank you! |

|
Location: Jacksonville, FL 32246, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: August 07, 2026
Hi there, I’m a first-time mom seeking a doula with strong experience supporting Black women and women of color through pregnancy and childbirth. I’ll be delivering at Baptist South in Jacksonville with an August 2026 due date, and I want to get started early so we can build trust, align on a birth plan, and make this entire experience feel confident and supported. Budget: $1,500–$2,500 depending on the level of support included; flexible I’m planning a hospital birth, preferably natural but very open to epidural if needed, and I’m looking for someone who: • Creates a calm, empowered, culturally affirming experience • Keeps me relaxed and informed without overwhelming me • Collaborates effectively with nurses and providers • Supports my partner so he feels confident and involved • Brings comfort techniques, positioning expertise, and strong coaching through labor and pushing • Helps me navigate key decisions clearly and confidently I also value postpartum support, including: • Light cleaning and basic household assistance • Simple meal prep or snack support • Breastfeeding guidance and newborn care tips • Emotional support during those early days home Positive energy, professionalism, and strong advocacy skills are a must. Excited to connect and find the right partner for this journey. |

Christopher is looking for Postpartum Doula, Sleep Coach, Night Nanny
|
Location: Martinsburg, WV 25404, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: August 30, 2025
We are looking for a night nanny / doula that can help sleep train our 5 month old son. He is a very difficult sleeper that has become used to nursing to fall asleep. Sleep regression really started around the 4 month mark and has not gotten any better. Nights currently consist of waking every 2 hours and struggling to go back to sleep. Mom is having an extremely difficult time and needs help as soon as possible. Dad works full time and struggles to assist during the week. This is baby number 5, and we are at a loss. Budget at this point is whatever it takes to get a better sleeping baby. |

Another support system I can rely on in a new state. Most of my family will not be around for the birth and I need someone I can trust to help me deliver my baby safely, advocate and listen to my needs to ensure I make it through child birth. I need someone who will hear me and that I can lean on for guidance. I want to live and survive so I can raise my baby. |

Hello ! I plan to give birth with my first child at UF health hospital. I would like to run my insurance through Medicaid to see how that’ll affect price. My birth plan 💓 Environment - I prefer a female doctor or midwife - I would like to give birth in the hospital - I would like to have subdued lighting if possible - I would like to listen to music during labor Companions - I only want my partner, doctors, nurses and midwives in the room - family can visit me in the hospital Fetal monitoring - I would like the baby to be monitored using a Doppler - I would like to have continuous fetal monitoring Photos & videos - I would like to have a video shot after birth - I would like to have pictures taken after the birth Induction - If necessary, I am ok with my waters being broken to induce labor - small use of epidural to start and possibly add more later Pain relief - If possible, I would like a mobile epidural (would be able to have some feelings in your legs and possibly walk) - Please don’t offer any pain relief, unless I ask for it Tearing & episiotomy - I would like to occasionally have directions regarding when to push or not to push, so as to avoid tearing During labor - I would like to be able to move or walk around freely - I would like to be free to eat and drink when I want to - I would like to try various birthing positions - I would like to use spontaneous bearing down and not forced pushing Cesarean birth - Do not perform a hysterectomy, unless it is the only option to save my life - I would like my partner or companion to be with me if I have a cesarean birth - I would like to be offered a second opinion, if I need a cesarean birth - If an emergency cesarean is required, I would like to stay awake - If possible, I would like to avoid a cesarean birth Delivery - I would like to be free to decide my own position for labor - I would like to push when I feel like doing it naturally rather than being told when to push After delivery - I do not want to be given any drugs to speed up the delivery of the placenta - If possible, I do not want to be separated from my baby after delivery. - My partner will stay with our baby if there is an emergency - We would like to have skin-to-skin contact and time to bond with the baby as soon as possible after delivery - We would not like any Vitamin K to be given to our baby, unless our baby is born by forceps, vacuum extractor or cesarean Umbilical cord - I would like my partner to cut the umbilical cord Feeding - I would like to breastfeed my baby as soon as possible after birth - I would like to have some help the first time I breastfeed my baby |

Location: Durham, NC 27707, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 26, 2026
We are expecting our second child this spring and are looking for overnight support for mom once a week or every other week starting in early May, when dad returns to work, so he can get a good night's sleep. Support would include helping mom to change baby and get set up for breastfeeding, attending to our toddler if baby wakes the toddler up, helping get baby back to sleep if there are issues, baby laundry (running through washer/dryer/folding), downstairs child area tidying (helping us to put away books and toys), and potentially helping with some light food prep (washing and cutting up fruit and veg). Our preference would be alternating Wednesday nights, Tuesday ok too. Probably looking at 4 (but possibly up to 6) visits during those two months, ideal hourly rate $40. |

I plan to give birth at the hospital, I already had one baby but my experience in birth was really bad I wan someone that knows about birth that can fight and care for my needs My in-laws at giving me this experience away so I’m not really sure what is their budget I want to have golden hour skin to skin with my baby, delay the cut of the umbilical cord, they are my priorities, and I want to learn about breast feeding, with my first we didn’t have the support we wanted at the hospital with this and didn’t know how to get it so I couldn’t breastfeed. It’s really important to me being able to do this for my second baby |

I am interested in a home birth/Natural birth. My partner and I left our previous Provider in southern pines for concerns of "Modern Birthing Practices" and not supporting our decision for a home or natural birth, also we wanted to keep ultrasounds and doppler to a minimum and they highly disliked that. we have received 2 ultrasounds so far and genetic testing, and they bragged that everything looked great with the baby. So far no health concerns or high-risk pregnancy, so we feel great about a home birth. We are looking for a Midwife and doula in the area. |
