I started this journey after difficulties with my own pregnancy, having miscarried in my second child at 20 weeks. I struggled with postpartum depression and breastfeeding and wanted to be by the side of other women so that they may feel kindness and support, secure, and loved if their experiences mirrored hers. I believes every birthing person deserves to be heard and to have someone who can help them advocate for themselves.

My name is Caroline and I am a certified birth doula serving Lakeland, Florida. I am passionate about providing calm, compassionate, inclusive support to pregnant people before, during, and after birth by providing information and resources, as well as emotional and physical support. Hey everyone! My name is Coni and I am a Certified Birth Doula located in Polk County, Florida. I'm married and have 3 crazy kiddos. I was also a surrogate and had Belly Buddy on February 3rd, 2024. I have always been interested in birth. My mom used to teach childbirth classes at the hospital when I was little, and I always loved going with her. I got pregnant at 17 and had to deliver at a birthing center due to financial reasons. I was TERRIFIED to give birth without any medications. Long story short I did it and I felt so empowered! This is when my passion grew even stronger about birth and learning the truths behind it. I ended up having my other 2 kids at the same birthing center because I fell in love with it. I had my first hospital birth with Belly Buddy and that was a new experience that I was able to grow my knowledge in. I would love to be your Doula and help empower you.
