I plan to give birth at a birth center with a midwife and hope to have an unmedicated, low-intervention birth if it is safe for me and my baby. I would prefer a doula who has experience supporting first-time mothers and is patient, gentle, non-judgmental, and a good communicator. Speaking Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus, but not required.
