Hello, my name is Orlismar (Abby) and I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula based in Long Island, New York. I have over 10 years of experience supporting families and caring for newborns, preemies, and twins. I focus on helping parents feel confident, rested, and supported during the early days of their baby’s life. I am CPR and first aid certified and always aim to create a calm and caring environment that fits each family’s unique needs. I speak both English and Spanish fluently, and I enjoy working with families from all backgrounds. In my free time, I love crocheting baby items and doing other creative crafts. It brings me a lot of joy to make things that are thoughtful and meaningful.

As a Newborn Care Specialist, I offer overnight and around-the-clock support to help establish healthy sleep habits, assist with feeding (including breastfeeding and bottle feeding), and care for your baby so you can get the rest you need. I am experienced in working with singletons, twins, and preemies, and I always tailor my care to each baby’s unique needs and the family’s parenting style. My goal is to ease the transition into parenthood and create a peaceful environment where both parents and baby feel supported and cared for. As a postpartum doula, I focus on the overall well-being of the entire family during the fourth trimester. I offer emotional support, newborn education, light household help, and guidance on recovery and self-care for new parents. Whether you need help navigating feeding challenges, want to build confidence in baby care, or simply need a reassuring presence in the home, I am here to support you every step of the way.
