Duties would include bottle feeding or bringing the baby to me for nursing, burping, changing diapers, soothing, and putting the baby back to sleep. I would also appreciate light baby-related help, such as washing bottles/pump parts, keeping a simple overnight log of feeds and diapers, and having a small snack available during the shift. I am in need of a doula to guide myself and my husband, Shaheen, through the pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period (including breastfeeding). We are hoping you can provide us with specific, actionable ways for Shaheen to support me during pregnancy, especially during labor, and during the postpartum period. I hope to labor at home as long as possible, avoid the epidural if possible, and I really would like to avoid a C-section.
