We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). We are looking for a russian speaking doula who will be able to help during birth and also provide guidance in postpartum journey (newborn care, pp recovery). Hospital birth. Hoping to go unmedicated. Need someone experienced with pain management and who can help my husband navigate the process. Plan on giving birth in a hospital. Budget is around 2000. Preferably someone who has worked with Muslim clients.

I’d like to give birth at a birthing center but my husband is leaning towards a hospital. I mainly want it to be a natural birth and to labor how I feel most comfortable. I don’t want to be pressured or pushed by the hospital in any way (including delayed cord clamping, keeping vernix on etc).
