I'm 39 years old and this is my first birth. I'm looking for a doula to assist me in my birth in a hospital in Denver, Co. My budget is $1,000. My plan is to give birth as natural as possible with no C-section, at my hospital Intermountain Health Hospital in Golden, CO. i'm looking for a certified doula with at least 5 years of experience. I'd also like to use my in network benefits through Anthem.
I’m looking specifically for support during birth. This is my second birth and the first was very traumatic specifically with the epidural. I’m now very fearful of getting another epidural and would like to try go the non-medicated route this time but I know that I will need extra support to accomplish this goal. I have Anthem bcbs through my husband’s employment with the city of Colorado Springs, if you have any experience with that it would be helpful as paying out of pocket would be hard financially for my family. Thank you for your time and consideration.
This is the first time ive ever been pregnant and I’m planning on giving birth at a birthing center attached to a hospital. I’m not sure on a budget I don’t know what the typical cost is. My birth plan is to try without interventions as long as I can but if need be that’s totally fine. I’m not against any interventions.
I plan to give birth either at home or in a birthing center, with a focus on a holistic, low-intervention approach while prioritizing the safety and well-being of both myself and my baby. While I do not have a finalized birth plan at this time, I am seeking a certified midwife with at least five years of experience. I would also like access to comprehensive prenatal education, labor and birth support, postpartum guidance, and lactation assistance.
