I want to give birth peacefully at home in a water bath
This is our first baby and we are very excited to welcome her to the world. I plan on giving birth in a hospital. I want to go as natural as possible and it’s very important to me that the doctors respect that. I need someone to advocate for me when I can’t do so myself. I want to labor at home as long as possible and avoid pitocin and an epidural. I also do not want to give my baby the hep B vaccine and I do not want to give them the erythromycin eye ointment. I want to delay cord clamping and have at least one hour of skin-to-skin contact directly after birth :)

I am looking for a Muslim birth doula to support me for an unmedicated, natural birth. I am due on January 11 and plan to deliver at Mount Sinai West in New York City, where I am receiving midwifery care through Oula Health. While my family lives in the Westchester/Mount Vernon area, I will be traveling into Manhattan for the delivery. We have not finalized our exact budget yet but are open to discussing rates. My ideal birth plan focuses on creating a calm, private, and spiritually aligned experience that honors Islamic values through emotional and spiritual encouragement. I am looking for a collaborative professional who can work seamlessly alongside my Oula midwife to support my labor goals and protect my birthing space.
