I’m looking for a IBCLC my 7 week old baby has a shallow latch and is constantly pulling away and using their lip muscles to much causing them to over work making feedings short and difficult. He’s constantly falling asleep at the breast. I also just need help with how to better my breast feeding experience. I had a C-section at 37 weeks and my milk has yet to come in. I’m a first time mom and I no one in my family has ever breastfed so I’m trying to learn on my own! My family and I plan to conduct a home birth. I just moved to Fairhope from California so I'm in the process of getting set up with insurance that I plan to use to cover the costs of a home birth. I want as little intervention as possible unless it's absolutely necessary. This is my first pregnancy after a miscarriage and my experience while miscarrying in a hospital was horrible I want to be as comfortable as possible as I deliver. My husband and he's family who we are staying with during my second, last trimester and postpartum will be available to assist if necessary.
