Aside from physical comfort, I want emotional support during pregnancy and motherhood. Due to co-parenting, I want someone who encourages healthy communication, respects both parents' roles, and helps us work together for the child's best interests. As a new parent, I would appreciate help with newborn care, infant feeding, and postpartum recovery.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. This is my first pregnancy, and I want to try to attempt the whole labor and delivery process without an epidural, if i can or for as long as i can, and if i cant handle it then possibly get an epidural. I need someone to help coach me through the process of labor and delivery when my early labor starts to when i go to hospital and even while pushing. I also need someone to help advocate for me and my husband at the hospital in case the nurses and doctors try over stepping and pushing things on us. We want to avoid certain vaccines for baby as well. I want to avoid getting induced. I also need a doula that will stay after the delivery and help coach me and get me through the pospartum phase in the hospital.

I want a vaginal birth only. I would like my doula to be experienced at least 5 years. I would like my doula to help me with sleep training, lactation, nutrition, etc.

Labor support and labor preparation Supportive doula

Hospital birth with home labor in Vista as long as possible. I’m hoping for natural, no intervention and hands off birth. Iv been very low risk and plan for that to continue. We are looking for someone to help be our advocate at the hospital, as we know sometimes a lot of pressure can be placed on the birthing parent while in labor so just another voice to reinforce my wants. However, we have flexibility in mind as I know how fast things can change but I do believe in the body and its ability to deliver children independently if allowed to!
