Words can not express how incredibly thankful and appreciative we are to have had Phili as our doula and on our birthing team! She is this incredibly resourceful, passionate and caring birth expert who goes above and beyond to make sure you and your partner are completely comfortable and equipped with your birth, and we truely believe that every parent would hugely benefit from having Phili as their doula, whether its your first child or growing your family. I went into pregnancy thinking of birth as this extremely scary, painful, totally horrible event (how its sadly mostly depicted on tv), to feeling so excited, prepared and an overall sense of calm, which then resulted in such a beautiful experience for us and such an empowering birth. Philis knowledge, resources and support before the birth was out of this world- I never expected to feel that prepared and calm about however our birth would go. During the labour and birth, Phili had every imaginable thing covered on how to help guide me and so importantly my partner into knowing what to do or how to help as it progressed, and she did this in such a loving gentle way that it never interfered with feeling like it was our special time together. Then the tremendous amount of love and continued support after the birth and into our parenting journey made us feel like we could always ask her for guidance or advice. My partner became so confident in knowing how he could help and what his role was during labour, in the birth and after, when before meeting Phili we both had no idea how he could help and really did just see the birth partner as being someone who just stood there and watched helplessly- sooo far from the truth! If your feeling at all nervous, scared or uncertain about your birth then do yourself a favour and get in touch with Phili- you wont regret it!
