About me

Congratulations on your pregnancy or if you’ve just had your baby! I am Pineda, a qualified doula based in Cardiff, South Wales. This is an exciting and new time in your life! If you are looking for a doula it is probably because you want to have a positive experience. I am here to work with you to have a positive birth and postnatal experience. Learning from unbiased and up to date resources, with time and space to talk and be heard and understood. I am not a teacher and I cannot make decisions for you, but I will be there to support your choices and your confidence on your journey. I provide emotional, practical and informative support tailored to your specific needs and circumstances. I cover Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Bristol and the surrounding areas. Birth doula support

Emotional, physical and practical support for you and your partner. We will work together to prepare for birth with up-to-date, evidence-based information. This support includes: 2 antenatal sessions (minimum 2 hours) to discuss your wishes, feelings and preparation for birth. Review of your birth plan. Providing information and resources when needed. 1 antenatal session (minimum 2 hours): postnatal planification. We will discuss the different postnatal areas and needs, and provide you with information and resources when needed to make you feel more empowered and informed. On call from 38 to 42 weeks, 24/7. Email and text support. Early labour support by phone or at home. Support during labour, birth and after birth (3 hours). 2 postnatal visits (2 hours). Access to my library.

Rocking and wrapping a new mothers's body is part of the traditional wisdom we used to have. The closing the bones ritual with rebozo is a mexican practice that helps to speed up the natural postpartum recovery. It brings relaxation and calm. I hold a nurturing and safe space to honour your body and your emotions with gratitude and validation.
