I am very early in my pregnancy and just trying to get an idea of what this looks like
Just looking into what my options are. I am giving birth at Vassar hospital.
I would like to have a vaginal birth, I am 42 yrs
I plan on giving birth at the Vassar brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. My estimated budget is anywhere from 2500 to 3500. My birth plan is flexible at this point. I’m still trying to decide what’s best for me. I’m not opposed to a medicated plan. I would like the Doula to be certified and to have at least 2 to 3 years of experience. I would like lots of resources to childbirth education classes.
Im a first time mom who is nervous and didnt have the best experience for the first doctors appointment. I would like some insight on birthing options and what midwives have to offer. 1. I havent completely decided on a home birth vs hospital birth 2. Not sure, just want good care 3. To have a safe and healthy baby. I would like to try a natural birth
Picking a hospital, and assisting with a birth plan
I need help & support in achieving my second VBAC at hospital that’s covered by Medicaid since paying out of pocket for a support person is out of my price range but I’ve always wanted someone who knows so much to be there with me. I’m not really sure how to give birth when I’ve had a c-section (no laboring, breech baby) with my first & my second was induction with an epidural. I want to feel empowered but I have a hard time voicing that even though I’m so sociable. I don’t want an epidural or Pitocin & I want to have a vaginal birth. I’m open to other forms of pain relief but I want to stray from an epidural entirely.
I’m planning on giving birth at a birthing center. (BSD Birthing center) My estimate budget is $1, 000-4,000 My birthing plan is to pre-labor at home until I’m about ready to give birth in Which I’ll go to the Birthing center. They have a tub which I’d like to use for the birth. I’m looking for someone who can educate me on birthing positions, tips, and be there for the prenatal into my postpartum journey
