I am a geriatric pregnancy, expecting my first baby. I am arriving in San Diego in a couple weeks time. I am looking to have a natural birth, hopefully unmedicated as well. I am hoping to find someone to support me, with patience to allow me to do this without too many interventions. I have been told I would likely be an induction, and that does scare me. We are arriving from Des Moines, and this is last minute unfortunately, so there is added anxiety and immense overwhelming feelings along with everything. Budget around $1300

First baby, planning to give birth in a hospital in San Diego. Planning to do unmedicated birth unless I'm induced, then I'll get an epidural. I have Tricare Select

I plan to give birth in the Balboa Navy medical hospital. My budget is on the lower side. Birth plan would be calm environment, only my doula, husband, and limited amount of doctors in the room. No student doctors. No episiotomy (unless medically recommended and/or justified), no male doctors, I do have questions about pitocin if the time comes, would like a epidural but birthing position to be hands and knees. I would also like a delayed cord cutting and deliver the placenta on its own time. We would also like my husband to catch the baby and cut the cord.
