I think I am 7-8 weeks pregnant and would love to do a home birth if possible. I want to keep it as natural as possible even if I have to be at a hospital. A few years ago, I had a pulmonary embolism, likely caused by knee surgery (had multiple blood tests done by a hematologist that came back all clear). I'm no longer on blood thinners but don't know if a midwife would accept me as a patient. I would like to use my insurance if possible also.
