9 weeks and looking for prenatal consultation on frequent light pink spotting; have scheduled my first prenatal appointment for next week but don't have established care yet

9 weeks along looking to do a home birth or use a local birth center. Would like to keep this as low intervention as possible. This is my second pregnancy but I miscarried previously at 6 weeks. I currently have CHAMPVA as my primary insurance provider.

First baby in Gold Canyon, AZ. The care would be for the mother, plan is to give birth at a local Hospital. The mother is chronically ill, so assistance with postpartum care and recovery is crucial. Mother is currently 25 weeks and currently covered under Aetna. Care would be ideally through Monday-Friday and weekends as needed, emphasis on Monday-Friday since Father is working.

Looking for a midwife that delivers at honor health hospital in either shea or Sonoran. I think my due date is further down to the end of May but not sure. I would like to have the option to get an epidural but I don’t want pitocin and want to prevent a C-section as much as possible I would like to do without medication but also not be embarrassed to take a epidural. I think I am 7-8 weeks pregnant and would love to do a home birth if possible. I want to keep it as natural as possible even if I have to be at a hospital. A few years ago, I had a pulmonary embolism, likely caused by knee surgery (had multiple blood tests done by a hematologist that came back all clear). I’m hoping for a positive and empowering birth experience while also being open to whatever changes may be necessary to keep me and my baby healthy and safe. I am looking for a qualified/licensed midwife who supports a natural, low-intervention approach to pregnancy and birth. I have a personal preference to avoid medications and pills whenever medically appropriate. I would like to prioritize nutrition, food-based approaches, lifestyle changes, and pregnancy-safe herbs or supplements when appropriate. I would like my provider to discuss natural alternatives with me when they are considered safe and effective. I understand that “natural” does not always mean safe during pregnancy, and I am willing to follow professional guidance regarding which foods, herbs, vitamins, and supplements are appropriate. If medication or medical intervention becomes necessary for my safety or my baby’s safety, I want my provider to explain the reason, risks, benefits, and alternatives whenever possible. I am also interested in a low-intervention home birth with appropriate prenatal monitoring, newborn care, postpartum care, and a clear emergency/hospital-transfer plan.
