Hi! This is my second pregnancy and I’m really hoping for a VBAC. My first baby was almost 10 pounds, and my husband and I were both large babies and are large people in general. I also struggle with anxiety, particularly during the labor process, and really would like help with that. I plan to give birth at Cedar signing Hospital in West LA. My OB his Dr Keren Lerner. I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. Any experience helping first-time moms with larger bodies is appreciated. My first trimester has been very rough. Thanks for considering!

I need some one that will help me through a vbac birth I plan to give birth at a hospital, also was wondering if insurance is an option

1. Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles 2. Hoping to find someone covered by insurance, mine is Anthem Blue Cross California HMO (IPA Regal Medical Group). 3. I don’t have one yet, other then I’d like an epidural and understand if that doesn’t work I need coping mechanisms and/or open to the potential need for C-section.

I’m looking for a doula to help me with emotional and physical support during birth, covered with my insurance plan, An affordable midwife to assist me with the home birth, and a lactation consultant to support me after birth with breastfeeding. - i will be going to my ob for my doctors appointments in network, and would just like to facilitate the actual birth at home. -home birth, bathtub, birth sling. - 5-7k - no intervention, no iv, only vitamin k, no eyedrops, keep placenta. - 2nd vaginal birth, first natural - i would like a lactation consultant to support me with cluster feeding, establishing supply, and creating a support for those emotions and pain you can feel with those first feeds. 💕 additional duties not required.

I am looking for someone who can help to protect me and help me feel safe and like my choices are being respected during labor. I am absolutely open to pain medications/necessary interventions, but I do have some fear in hospitals and I don't necessarily trust the medical system 100%. My budget is probably up to $1000, I'm giving birth at the UCLA center in Westwood. I am going to decide on an epidural as I go, but if I get one I want a walking epidural. I am afraid of C section to be honest, I would rather have some control and be able to move around but not feel rushed through or pressured into procedures that aren't necessary. I want to protect a calm and quiet environment as much as possible, I'm guessing I'm going to want to be very inward as I go through the process, at least as much as possible, but this is my first baby so I'm not 100% sure. Hoping to do intermittent monitoring if possible, want golden hour, don't want my provider to pull on my placenta or the cord. And I'd like delayed cord clamping :) I am definitely open to student doulas, but I don't think I want UCLA student doctors in and out disturbing my peace as I work through labor. Mainly just don't want the noise, distraction, additional people in the room.
