Out of hospital birth via birth center (preferred) or home birth. Christian providers are preferred and required for the doula roles. I live in West Seattle and would like to birth close to home. In the past, I've had short labors and gone before due date. Doulas would need to get to me within 30 minutes to an hour of call.

I want to give birth in a birthing center not a hospital. Any birthing center within a few cities of Tacoma would work. Ideally the birthing inn, but not all midwives have privileges there. If possible I would prefer a midwife who is a CNM and is trained to administer nitrous oxide during birth and understands my needle phobia. My husband would like to catch the baby so I would like the midwife to collaborate and work with my husband to ensure a safe delivery. I need doula care before and after birth as well if possible. Tricare select is our insurance, hopefully someone who takes this specific insurance.

Hello! I plan to give birth in hospital but I would really like to be advocated for a natural and safe birth. I have Tricare. I should have mention that I am looking for a black woman. There's a lot of racial bias in the medical field to the point that black women are 3-4 times more likely to die from pregnancy related issues! I feel like a black woman would understand the adversity of how black people are perceived in the medical field. Thank you!

I am interested in receiving additional monitoring through my third pregnancy. Our second pregnancy resulted in the still birth of our son Asher on his due date at 40 weeks due to a nuchal cord. My anxiety to reach the end of this pregnancy and bring our baby home is very strong. I have never had complications, but would feel more comfortable with additional monitoring/someone who is available than my OB. I plan to give birth in a hospital with an epidural. I don’t have any other specific requirements for birth. I have trust in my OB and her medical opinion. Would like to be in the $1000-2,000 range.
