Looking for a child birth, breast feeding, and postpartum doula.
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with my first child and recently returned to Brooklyn after spending the past three months of my pregnancy overseas. My due date is June 28th, and I am now exploring my options for labor and delivery. A water birth has always been my preferred choice, and I am currently considering alternatives to a traditional hospital setting, including birthing centers. As this is my first pregnancy, I feel I am still learning about the many avenues of childbirth and would greatly value guidance and education throughout this process. I am reaching out to inquire about your doula services and to see if you may be a good fit to support me during pregnancy, labor, and birth. I would love the opportunity to connect, learn more about your approach, and discuss how you support clients in exploring their birth preferences. I am also interested in any insight you may have regarding insurance coverage or reimbursement related to doula care. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I look forward to the possibility of connecting. Warm regards, Adriana
Hi! I am giving birth for the first time at a hospital. I would like someone there to help me and my husband navigate decisions and have a good birth plan and when is the right time to get an epidural etc. I would I ideally like to give birth vaginally. my estimated budget is $2,500
I have Aetna insurance through my workplace. We are having a hospital birth at NYU. We live in Brooklyn, NY.
I would like to match with a doula that will help me prepare for birth, create a birth plan, and provide in-person support when the contractions start. Additionally, I would like a doula that will guide me and help me through breastfeeding and the first weeks of the baby. I plan to give birth at Mount Sinai West. I do not have a budget since I do not know how much this services cost, but I am open to check the offers. I do not have a birth plan yet and I would like to discuss that with the doula.
I'm giving birth in a few months (6 months pregnant now), and am looking for a doula to be there when I give birth. I have Aetna insurance and want it to be covered by insurance. Giving birth at NYU Langone in Kips Bay, Manhattan, and I'm interested in delayed cord clamping, unmedicated birth, etc.
1. I will be giving birth at NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns 2. I am looking for a birth doula in the range of $1500-$2,000 3. Ideally, I would like a natural birth - avoiding a medically induced labor and/or C-section (unless it's necessary)
Plan to give birth in hospital, have no spousal support. Would rather have doula in room during birth process .. my parents, I’d like them to come in once the birth is complete and I’m covered, out of the respect of our culture, but I definitely would love support during that time. My budget.. well I’m struggling with medical bills and legal fees and no job so I am looking for free doulas in this difficult time, or would hope my doula takes my insurance for billing - I have anthem blue cross blue shield ppo/epo plan, if that’s something she takes. My birth plan is natural but if it gets overwhelmingly difficult then c section. I am thinking epidural (maybe?) but I really dont want to give birth on my back..main goal- no episiotomy unless absolutely necessary, next main goal- avoid tearing .. heard wet rags help with elasticity, and would advocate no men and minimal resident learning on me as I don’t want to be a guinea pig and have them examine my cervix every few. If you can come to Elmhurst hospital - on Jan 27, I’d love to connect !
We are looking for a Doula or postnatal care specialist that is covered by our insurance. We have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York. We are not interested in exclusively out of pocket care providers due to cost reasons unfortunately!
