Hello! I am currently pregnant with twins! I am planning to give birth at Hackensack University Medical Center. I am excited for birth and hopeful to have a natural, physiological birth. My OB practice also values a vaginal birth. I am not sure what to expect for budget for a doula, however, my budget would be around $1,000. I would love to have as little interventions during birth as possible. It’s very important that as soon as the babies come out I am able to hold them immediately. I would like to delay the cord clamping, and delay first bath as well. I also planning to breastfeed twins and would love education and support to be as effective as possible in that area!

Assistance in the hospital after the baby is born because I'm having another C-section, including some assistance with breastfeeding. Preferably someone around my age. I want my husband to mostly stay home with our toddler during this time.

Our biggest need is not a cheerleader but instead someone who can represent us and our needs with the hospital leading up to the birth and at the hospital during labor, delivery, and post delivery.
