We’re planning to birth at home, and need a provider that accepts payment plans! We want a very laidback labor and delivery, I’m planning on having my partner, my best friend, my mom, and my son present as my support team!
I am interested in labor/birthing preparation. I am considering a possible home birth/water birth and would like a doula in attendance, if so. I am still working out the details of my birth plan, but know that I would like as close to a natural birth as possible (no epidural, induction, etc.).
I would like to plan to give birth at home. I do not have a strict budget and am open to pricing. I would prefer to have a natural water birth, but am open to options.
I am currently pregnant with my first child and am exploring a planned home birth if I remain low-risk throughout pregnancy. My estimated due date is October 10, 2026. I am looking for a licensed and experienced midwife who provides prenatal, labor/delivery, postpartum, and newborn care in the home setting. My goal is to have a natural, low-intervention birth and avoid epidurals, inductions, and unnecessary interventions unless medically necessary. If labor is progressing well, I am very interested in a water birth. Since this is my first child, I am open to continuous monitoring and appreciate providers who prioritize both comfort and safety. I have a B-negative blood type, so I am specifically looking for a provider who is experienced and comfortable managing Rh-negative pregnancies, including coordination of any necessary RhoGAM care and monitoring throughout pregnancy and postpartum. I would like a provider with a clear emergency transfer protocol, experience supporting first-time mothers, and strong postpartum support. I am also interested in personalized education and guidance throughout pregnancy. If timing allows, I would love for close family members to be present for emotional support while still respecting the midwife’s space and ability to work effectively. My budget is approximately $5,000–$8,000, and I am open to discussing payment plans.
I want to have a natural birth in the hospital. I am using medicare for a provider. I would want dim lighting and to be able to move freely if needed. IV strictly if necessary. Meditative music (possibly). Use natural techniques for pain relief. Non evasive fetal monitoring. Allow labor to progress free of time limits and strictly if necessary- last resort augmented labor. Push instinctively. Avoid Episiotomy. Lotus Birth or wait till cord is white. Partner will cut the cord. Partner or I will rub vernix into baby’s skin. Skin-to-skin with me and partner. If a boy- 3rd day circumcision. No immediate vaccines or blood drawn for baby. Combination of breast and bottle feeding.

I’m hoping to have someone by my side throughout this pregnancy to help me understand my body and what this pregnancy may hold. If required to give birth at the hospital, I would like to have a water birth still I am on pregnancy Medicaid I would like to keep my babies umbilical cord attached until it turns white so that the baby may get all of the nutrients I would also like to get my placenta turned into supplements after birth, and I wanna know the best way to give birth in the most natural way possible, without causing damage to my body or the baby.
I plan to give birth in a hospital setting. As a first-time mom, I’m still learning about the overall costs, so I don’t have a defined budget at this time.
