I am planning to give birth at home, in Dublin California. I’m mainly looking for a midwife and possibly a doula for support. I am planning to use my insurance at Kaiser for my scans up through the third trimester, and mainly want the midwife and possible doula team for delivery. I imagine visiting with them beforehand, but relying on my insurance for everything else leading up to delivery. Budget is $5k or less I want to give birth at home, unmedicated, with minimal interventions.

We plan to give birth at Stanford Children's hospital. This is our second child and we would like to do a natural birth again. For our first son's birth, we had a doula who helped with breathing, positioning, encouragement, and support during birth process. Our insurance is BlueShield of California. I am located in Southern California in the Irvine area. My husband is in the military and is currently deployed. He most likely will not be able to be at the birth of our son. Because of that I will be giving birth in Napa California at Queen of the valley hospital. I have tricare and hope to get the doula services covered through my insurance. I am a first time mom so I do not currently have a birth plan per se so I am hoping the doula could help me. I am 24 years old and like I said this is my very first baby so anything helps.

Hospital (planning to deliver at a hospital in the Bay Area / Mountain View, CA area). I have Cigna commercial insurance and understand doula care may be covered under California AB 904. I'd like to first use my insurance benefit if possible. For any out-of-pocket portion, my budget is approximately $4,000 for postpartum support. First-time mother, IVF pregnancy, currently under OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) care due to advanced maternal age (38). Planning a hospital birth. Open to natural birth but following medical guidance. Due date: January 20, 2027. I would especially value postpartum support, as I don't have family nearby.

My OB/GYN is associated with Palo Alto medical foundation. i’m looking for a certified Doula who can provide birth support during Lab prenatal educational classes during about birth and postnatal care might include lactation. I’m looking to avail the Doula services through Anthem Blue Cross employer based insurance. Their requirement is that the doula is a licensed mid wife. I am 29 years of age.

I’m also open to paying out of pocket but tricare would be my first pick. 3. This is my second child and the labor with my first was under 4 hours. Birth plan this time would be to labor without an epidural. All other parts of my birth plan I’m open to suggestions. I’d like to labor at home if possible.
