My mission is to support pregnant individuals in taking charge of their birth choices, fostering education on the birthing process. I provide unwavering support for home births, hospital births, and birthing center births, ensuring that every birthing person feels safe, heard, and empowered throughout this sacred experience.

I am so happy that I was able to have Emma as my doula. It was my first pregnancy and I had so many questions. Not only is Emma filled with knowledge on pregnancy, holistic health and remedies but she was the best support person/hype girl. She really made me feel empowered and able to bring my girl into the world. She has all of the tips and tricks to help things go smoothly and held space for me when I really needed it. I hope I am able to have her at any future births. It wouldn’t be the same without her <3

Hi y’all, For those interested in using a doula for your next pregnancy I highly recommend Juanita Lewis-Jones. She offered prenatal, delivery, and postpartum support and has been an absolute blessing to my husband and I. Doulas provide emotional support and work along side the medical providers. Juanita attended my first delivery at BAMC, helped me understand my options, and allowed me to make critical decisions in the labor room when it was most needed. She has such a calming presence and I felt comfortable leaning on her for guidance and support. Juanita is retired military and is very familiar with our particular needs as we are here on military orders and do not have any family in the area. She met with us virtually which made our meetings so convenient for our busy schedules. I would recommend requesting a doula early in pregnancy as their services are well sought after; however, they give priority to military, teen moms, and low income families. We have Christian and Buddhist backgrounds. If you’d like to incorporate belief into your journey, she will accommodate the request, but won’t push any particular sect which was perfect for our bi-cultural family. I recommend to every pregnant mom I meet to allow a doula to be part of their birth story. Juanita made all the difference in our experience. We have a healthy baby girl and I have healed both mentally and physically more quickly than I ever thought possible and I full heartedly believe it was due to her influence and support. We are better prepared as parents and partners to each other moving forward. We do and will always love Juanita like a family member Sincerely, Erika & Alex Rattanatay

I work with those who are experiencing distress and/or emotional challenges in their lives, either due to a specific life change, incident or ongoing life issues. Today, you have chosen to be here and taken the first step to explore therapy. For some of you, this may feel a bit scary because you are not sure what this is about and how it works. Life is rarely without challenges. There are times when we need to seek out the right therapist who is dedicated to assist us in challenging moments. Your story matters, and I am here to listen to your story.

I am a Full Spectrum Birth and Postpartum Doula in Austin, TX trained through Doula Trainings International. I work with families throughout the birth process to create supportive care and systems so you feel empowered and educated throughout the entire birth process, as well as supported and cared for during the postpartum period. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ families and those who are in different stages of the birth process, including miscarriage and loss. Previously, I entered a software engineering career through working to design technologies for individuals with traumatic brain injuries in hospital settings, but after hearing about several friends and family members' birth and doula experiences, I decided I wanted a more caretaking and embodied role in creating equitable change and creating peaceful, embodied, and inclusive experiences for families. In my free time, I love to make art, chat over a latte, go for a lake swim, and see live music with friends.

As a parent coach, I help parents rewrite their expectations around parenthood. I help them understand their children’s brain and manage their emotions behind why they get triggered by their children’s trantrums and behaviors. I show them the tools to parent from a place of connection so they create lasting and healthy relationships with their children.

If I had known all this when my kid was little, my life would have been so different. I feel much more prepared for the next baby. During therapy I discovered things about myself but didn’t know how to change them. With Noa I was able to put into practice what I wanted to change in my parenting.

Hello! I’m Lina and I am a Certified Parent Coach and Positive Discipline Parent Educator behind The Heartful Mama LLC. I help parents move away from punishment and yelling towards a more compassionate approach in their discipline, deepening their connection with their children, through my parent-centric coaching program. My parenting philosophy is all humans (adults and children alike) are to be seen and heard, and when parents are fully supported in a safe and no-judgement space, they thrive and children under their care flourish. I believe that there is no bad children, only misunderstood kids and my work as a parent coach is to support parents in deepening their understanding of their children, no matter how old they are. In my free time, I love to explore new places with my two children or go for a walk with my partner at our neighborhood park.
