Kellyn Dassler

About me

I am a Full Spectrum Birth and Postpartum Doula in Austin, TX trained through Doula Trainings International. I work with families throughout the birth process to create supportive care and systems so you feel empowered and educated throughout the entire birth process, as well as supported and cared for during the postpartum period. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ families and those who are in different stages of the birth process, including miscarriage and loss. Previously, I entered a software engineering career through working to design technologies for individuals with traumatic brain injuries in hospital settings, but after hearing about several friends and family members' birth and doula experiences, I decided I wanted a more caretaking and embodied role in creating equitable change and creating peaceful, embodied, and inclusive experiences for families. In my free time, I love to make art, chat over a latte, go for a lake swim, and see live music with friends.

Service introduction

I offer full spectrum doula services, including birth, labor and postpartum care. For the postpartum phase, I also offer optional additional support including postpartum meal prep, overnight care, and resources to local healthcare workers such as pelvic floor physical therapists. I do not yet accept insurance, but I am currently prepping for certification to accept insurance and Carrot fertility benefits in 2026.
