About me

After becoming certified with DONA as a labor doula I joined my education, experience, and creativity with becoming a lifestyle photographer and have since been serving the greater Austin area. My goal is to empower new and expecting families with fact-based information, and unyielding support. Simultaneously, I enjoy capturing the moments that define your life-- whether that is working together prenatally, documenting your family’s connection, or joining you in your intimate birth experience. If it’s part of your life, I’m IN! There’s nothing I love more than connecting with others. I’m a firm believer in treating others the way you want to be treated, so I view every client like they are a treasured friend. Serving Austin families since 2017, I’m a DONA certified labor doula and lifestyle photographer who specializes in maternity, birth, and newborn photography. Whether you're new to this whole parenthood thing, growing your family for the second time, or just needing to update your family portrait, I’m passionate about embracing the authentic and helping families feel empowered at all stages of parenthood.

Frequently asked questions

How many births have you attended?

I attend on average 30 births a year or 2-4 births a month. As of April 2023, I have attended 113 births and supported numerous other families on their parenthood journey from conception through postpartum.

Do you offer birth photography and doula support at the same time?

Yes! I love the opportunity to offer birth photography and doula support in tandem. The industry term for this role is a called a "doula-tog" and the two roles compliment each other seamlessly during the labor experience.

Are you able to attend births in person during the COVID-19 pandemic?

While this varies by birthing location and their respective labor and delivery policies, as a DONA certified doula I have been able to attend births for the entirety of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Austin, Texas area.
