About me

I work as a postpartum doula with a grounded, caring approach that meets families right where they are in the early days of parenthood. I understand how tender and overwhelming this time can be, and I’m honored to come into the home to offer both practical support and steady reassurance! I focus on evidence-based care while also respecting each family’s unique rhythms, needs and values. My goal is for parents to feel supported, understood and more confident as they settle into life with their new baby. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Services and Human Development and Family Studies, with a focus on infancy and the first three years following childbirth. I am also currently an MSW student, continuing to deepen my learning around perinatal and maternal health. My goal is to keep growing in this field so I can provide informed, compassionate, and evolving support to the families I work with.

Service introduction

I approach my role as a postpartum doula with the constant reminder that it is a privilege to be welcomed into such an intimate space. A family's home during one of the most vulnerable and life-changing seasons of their lives. It is an honor to support parents as they welcome their baby into a home filled with love, growth, and new beginnings. My philosophy of care is rooted in evidence-based practice and cultural humility. I believe providing meaningful support requires both factual knowledge and the willingness to understand each family's unique experiences, values, traditions and emotions. I do not believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach to postpartum care because every family deserves individualized support that reflects their needs. Compassion, flexibility and empathy cannot exist within a black-and-white mindset. Instead, I strive to meet families where they are, honoring their choices while providing thoughtful, evidence-informed guidance that empowers them throughout their postpartum journey. My goal is for every client to feel like they have someone cheering them on from the rooftops. I want you to feel genuinely supported, empowered, and seen throughout our time together. My hope is that our time together leaves you feeling more confident in yourself, your family, and this new chapter of life.
